O.F.A.H. Tackle Share Loaner Sites

O.F.A.H. Tackle Share is designed to lend fishing rods, reels and basic tackle to youth and novice anglers who do not have their own fishing equipment.

Participating Ontario Provincial Parks, public libraries, Conservation Authorities, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters organizations host O.F.A.H. Tackle Share loaner sites across the province. Through these locations, youth and new anglers can sign out a rod and reel and an assortment of tackle the same way library materials are borrowed.

Since its launch in 1998, O.F.A.H. Tackle Share has become a province-wide success with over 100 loaner sites. Thanks to this sponsor-driven O.F.A.H. program, money or accessibility to angling equipment is no longer a barrier. Children and families are able to try this wonderful recreational activity together and discover what nature has to offer.
